IN AN INSTANT

In Te Ngahere we have been writing narratives. I think mine was the best. My one was about meeting myself in the future and it is really funny. Here is my story. This is still a draft though.

I was walking along the side of the road in Whangarei.. wait what..? what is that, ominous glow in the distance no it can't be, a car came flying down the road legitimately flywheels facing the ground blue lights out of every window. for some random reason it parked in our driveway must have stopped for gas well I hope so because I need answers I get home it looks at me from a distance and saw me it started running away “HEY” I called, it turned around and looked at me again he started to walk towards me I backed up just a little and then I saw it..it it was me but in an older form.. a few weeks ago I got a note in the mail to say I'M COMING in blue writing in a blue package wait.. blue.. the lights in the car windows were dark blue, his skin is dark blue and my favourite colour is dark blue. Could this be a warning for the future?!? I ran to him at the same time that he did up close he looked about thirty eight years old and he said “hi Julian it's Julian I need you to get me that note I sent you” “that was YOU oh wait, that was ME” I said, I ran home and grabbed the note I had kept it I a special box to remind me for anything that came around at first I thought it would be a band or something and everyone got one around town but now I guess not “hey here you..go umm” I said he was gone his car was still there but he was gone. TO BE CONTINUED…

I think I did well with my writing especially vocab. The one thing I don't think was so astonishing was the punctuation. A few sentences might be too long. We did this writing for a sample to set our goals from.
